An open great room at dusk, layered warm light, sheer shades half lowered over a glass wall to a terrace and pool

A design practice for private residences

Light, shade,
and the hours
of a house.

The practice

A house is not one room in one moment. It is the same rooms returning through the day in different weather and different light. Cordelia designs that whole arc: the lighting, the shading, and the quiet choreography that binds them, so a house knows what to do at noon, at dusk, and at two in the morning.

We work alongside architects, builders, and integrators on new houses and remodels, and we return to finished houses whose systems were installed but never truly designed.

A courtyard at night, a single olive tree softly uplit beside a reflecting pool, the residence glowing beyond

Olive Hill โ€” one house, designed hour by hour.
